my mom’s childhood home on the Ottawa river 🖤 I’m so proud of my mom, not only is she the most positive, fun, outgoing person... she’s been working every single day to teach people how to run the voting polls for today- the day we vote. She’s been retired for many years but took on this roll and has loved every single minute of it! she calls me almost every day to tell me how awesome her day was and how much she loves to teach. at 72 years young she is the busiest person I know, with a full social calendar, volunteers, takes care of her entire family and drinks white wine like it’s going out of style. with the income from this job she could go on a trip, buy something glamorous or something for her house but she wants to help us out with our renos. She would give you the shirt off her back (I’ve seen it 😂) and loves like her whole life depends on it; cause it does. I’m so proud of who she is and where she came from.
