If you haven’t heard of the Smash + Tess rompers by now, you must have been living under a rock. They are everywhere. Not only are they CUTE, they are the most comfortable outfits you could possibly wear. I’m talking that feeling when you get home on a Friday night with no plans and you take your bra off to put your pj’s on and become one with the couch- THAT kind of comfy.
I was lucky enough to be able to snag one from the ladies at ‘Roundstone/Fancy That’ here in Kingston. I chose the black (because I choose everything in black) and short sleeve so I can wear it all summer. To work, to the grocery store, to the cottage, basically anywhere I would go that would require some sort of clothing. I also love how these rompers are made in Canada, the quality is fantastic.
I wanted to style this a couple different ways to show you how versatile it is! You can dress it up or down or wear it on it’s own and you will still have a complete outfit.
Red lips: This is definitely a going out look. The red lips, heels and statement earrings gussy it up, I would wear this to dinner, a girls night out or a night on the town with my SO.
Earrings: Forever 21
Mules and Hat: This is a super casual look and the hat can hide messy gym hair or a Saturday morning messy bun. I love that I can just slip into my most comfortable shoes and this outfit is complete. No makeup, cap and I’m out the door. I would rock this outfit to grab groceries or to grab coffee with a girlfriend after the gym on a Saturday morning.
Blazer and Loafers: To make this romper work appropriate I added a blazer and my favourite work shoes- the loafers. This boyfriend style blazer adds sophistication while staying comfortable. I don’t know about you guys but I’m always freezing in my office and this blazer keeps me warm over my romper. Glasses, notebook, laptop and your set!
Blazer: Urban Outfitters
Loafers: Hudson’s Bay
The Roundstone/Fancy That boutique carries different styles and colours- go get yours now before they sell out-AGAIN! So many ladies have already messaged me about these- they are going fast! Isn’t comfort always worth the investment?
